WCEP provides students with a comprehensive cultural orientation program that aligns with the philosophy and tradition of KÜDEP, which has been implemented in 46 countries for 70 years. The content of the training offered throughout this program is designed with attention to KÜDEP's "intercultural learning" dimension. To achieve this, various intercultural learning models are considered in order to create the most effective learning environment for our students. Students are equipped with the necessary support to help them adapt more easily to the culture of the host country.
The primary goal of KÜDEP is to enable students from different cultures to better understand one another, gain diverse perspectives, and develop as global citizens. The program aims to enhance cultural awareness, eliminate prejudices between cultures, and contribute to a peaceful world.
Students participating in KÜDEP programs have the opportunity to learn the language, cultural norms, and social structure of the host country while studying abroad. Additionally, by introducing their own cultures to the host country, they initiate a reciprocal cultural exchange process. This process significantly contributes to the development of young people as global citizens.
