HIGH SCHOOL AMBASSADORS
ORIENTATION CAMP
Every year, we organize a 4-day orientation camp for our High School Ambassadors, who are eligible to participate in official student exchange programs in 16 countries, especially the Canadian Ministry of Education, with our expert trainers and speakers in their fields, to prepare them for the student exchange program.
We design the content of the training given during this camp by paying attention to the "intercultural learning" dimension. For this reason, we strive to create the most efficient learning environment for our students by considering different intercultural learning models.
Again, we apply the "experiential learning model" developed by "David Kolb" so that the learning environment is suitable and our students can be directly involved in the learning process. According to this model, we follow the questioning and thinking process that comes after a concrete experience by asking how it can be put into practice as a theoretical input.
Accordingly, we ensure the active participation of our students in accordance with their individual characteristics by using methods such as large group studies, role games, and simulations during the education.
